Hellebores when viewed in the garden generally have their heads facing downwards, which is good for the bees but not so good for us to see their beauty. So in this artwork The Hellebores the pressed flowers are fully on show, and they are quite lovely to see.
The artwork uses the stems to provide the flow upwards with the hellebore flowerheads attach themselves to the stems at various levels.
